Why Choose an Apple iPhone Over an Android phone

Muhammad Zeshan Sarwar Android, Apple iOS, Guides 270 Leave a Comment

Although Android phones are cool in their own right, many folks, including myself, prefer to use Apple iPhones. The beauty of Apple phones is not just manifested in its look, but also in the way, the hardware blends uniquely with its trademark iOS software. Interestingly, Apple phones are also known to sync seamlessly with other Apple products including the Apple watch and Macbook.

apple-iphone-vs-android

Here are some few genuine reasons why we think you should choose an Apple iPhone over an Android phone.

Seamless Hardware and Software Integration

iPhones introduce features that Android can seldom emulate. One of these key features is the 3D touch display which enables you to detect any pressure applied on the screen and thus be able to take short and quick actions from the home screen like checking an email.

Although Android has tried its level best to catch up with the 3D feature using the notable Taptic engine, it still doesn’t beat Apple.

Marvelous Cameras

The iPhone constantly amazes us with its high definition cameras which cannot be compared with Android’s cameras in any way. Apple’s phenomenal custom made image signal processors always ensure brighter colors and enhanced clarity of the pictures taken.

Interestingly, the FaceTime HD cameras that most iPhones come with still beat Android phones selfie camera due to the retina display feature which also acts a flash.

So when we talk of Apple iPhones, we are always guaranteed of quality.

Ease of Use

The minimalistic and straightforward iPhone design makes it easy to use. You won’t have to stress about app drawers, skins and overlays the way it is with Android phones. The neat and clean interface ensures that all you have to do is to pick your iPhone, slide to unlock, and tap an app to open it.

Although some folks whine that iPhone has maintained its look from the time it was first launched in 2007 till now, I feel this is a plus point since it doesn’t require any user manual to learn how it operates.

iOS updates as per your choice

While iPhone users can update their software when and how they want, this is not the case with our Android phone user friends. With the exception of only a few Android phones like Samsung, updating your Android OS is a technical and time-consuming process. iPhone users can choose to upgrade their OS on the day a new version is released without any struggle.

The Mecca of Cool Apps

Both Apple and Android have got millions of apps in their stores, but Apple still ranks number one as the first choice of developers to launch their apps. For example, Instagram took close to two years to launch an app on the Android store after running on the Apple store successfully. The same goes for other apps such as Periscope and the highly praised Vainglory game.

Compatible with Macs, Apple Watch and other Apple Products

You can use your Macbook to send and receive messages, place a call, etc. if you sync it with your iPhone. The multi-device compatibility feature is only available for iPhones. Android phones are a far cry from this. You can perform various functions with your iPhone synced to your Macbook, for example, you can start writing an email on your Mac book and complete in on your iPhone.

The above comparison concludes that Apple phones, i.e. iPhones have the upper hand over their Android counterparts are should, therefore, be given preference if you are a given a choice to choose between the two.
